ING, one of Europe’s largest banks, has selected bolttech, a technology-enabled insurance platform, as its strategic partner to expand embedded insurance and protection solutions across European markets.
The partnership is already operational in the Netherlands, Italy, Poland and Belgium, with further markets expected to follow. The collaboration comes as ING scales its embedded insurance strategy across Europe following the launch of a new global subscriptions model.
The agreement will see the two organisations combine ING’s international customer network and brand reach with bolttech’s insurance platform and servicing capabilities. The partnership is designed to simplify how customers access protection products at scale, while reducing the operational complexity of managing multiple markets simultaneously.
