Entsia helps Delta Insurance accelerate Ebix product launch

Delta Insurance, an commercial insurer, has launched its Cyber and Management Liability products on the Ebix Sunrise Exchange platform, with implementation support from Entsia, a full lifecycle insurance administration platform provider.

The launch saw Delta bring the products to market via the Ebix Sunrise Exchange distribution platform, with Entsia providing its accelerated accreditation process to significantly cut the time typically required for such deployments.

Commercial and specialty product builds of this kind generally take anywhere from six to nine months or longer, though close collaboration between the three parties from the outset allowed implementation and accreditation timelines to be substantially shortened without any reduction in quality.

Central to the faster delivery was Entsia’s two-week accelerated Ebix accreditation process, which trimmed up to a month from the overall schedule. The approach is underpinned by Entsia’s established integration experience with Ebix Sunrise, with the company already having 10 customers and 24 products live on the platform.

The launch deepens an existing partnership between Entsia and Delta that dates back to 2023, when the Entsia Platform was first used to power a BizPack product for Delta’s customers in New Zealand. Both companies are now exploring how the platform’s pre-built integrations could support additional products going forward.

Entsia offers a comprehensive insurance administration platform that covers everything from single risk retail products through to complex commercial packages. It enables insurers to manage and distribute products across both intermediated and direct channels, bringing together product management, underwriting, distribution, credit control and claims management within a single scalable solution. The platform is designed to serve insurers at every stage, from start-up through to enterprise, and integrates with broker channels to improve distribution efficiency.

Entsia CEO and founder Alistair McElligott said, “This is a strong example of what can be achieved when an insurer, technology partner and distribution partner work together with a clear commercial objective. By combining a proven platform, deep commercial insurance expertise and Entsia’s Ebix-approved accelerated accreditation approach, we’ve helped Delta move faster than anyone else, to capture a market opportunity.”

Delta Insurance Australia managing director Hamish MacLean said, “This partnership has enabled us to respond quickly to broker demand, building on Delta’s internal technology leadership and our existing relationship with Entsia. The result is a familiar, easy-to-use process that gives brokers access to Delta’s Cyber and Management Liability products so they can deliver the best possible outcome for their clients.”
