InsurTech company INSHUR has bolstered its UK in-house claims operations through a new deal with Five Sigma, a cloud-native claims management solutions provider.
Through its implementation, INSUR will be able to manage claims processes more cost-effectively, efficiently and accurately. It will also help comply with UK regulations, integrate with SIRA fraud prevention, improve customer access, and gain easy access to claims data for increased insights, clearer reporting and better-informed decision making.
INSHUR head of claims Marc Mercer said, “After an extensive evaluation of vendors, we selected Five Sigma as we truly feel that their similar InsurTech DNA and agile SaaS capabilities fully complement the digital-first claims infrastructure that we are looking to achieve.
“At INSHUR, we are committed to making insurance fair and easy for our policyholders – and bringing claims management in-house is central to this mission. We are confident that Five Sigma’s API-driven, highly configurable claims management solution will allow us to get up and running quickly and support us in the long term to expand into new lines of business.”
INSHUR and Five Sigma have previously teamed up together. In 2020, they worked together to help INSHUR build its US claims operations in-house from the ground up, to provide a first-class digital experience for customers in the US.
INSHUR is a mobile-based auto insurance platform, which lets drivers easily get a quote, purchase and service an insurance policy at their convenience.
Five Sigma has had a busy 2022. It recently launched a native integration with Medlogix, a medical claims management solution. Through the deal Five Sigma hopes to deliver more efficient and accurate medical claims processing for its US customers.
