Alan to launch new services and plans international expansion

Alan, a digital health insurance platform, is reportedly launching several new products and has plans for international expansion.

The insurance company is looking to launch products for the hospitality industry, which will be accessible through its mobile app, an article from TechCrunch claims. Two policies will be created, a basic coverage service for €30 a month and an improved protection policy for €55 per month.

Additionally, the company will release insurance for individuals. Currently, the InsurTech only provides health insurance for companies and freelancers and their families.

This development will enable Alan to supply cover to those who don’t work in a French company, are retired, or are public servants, the report states. Pricing for this cover will depend on a consumer’s age, ranging from €46 a month to 133 per month.

Next year, the company has plans to launch its service into other countries, with a focus on Spain and Belgium at first.

Earlier in the year, the company closed a €40m Series B round to support the development of its services.
