Neptune Flood launches in another three US states

Neptune Flood, an online flood insurance company, has launched its services in Arkansas, Idaho and Illinois, making its solution now available in 42 US states.

With the new launches, the company can now reach an additional 6.7 million households, it claims.

Neptune has released services to these new states ahead of the spring flooding season to help homeowners properly prepare. Its TRITON technology supports a two-minute process for buying flood protection, with no requirement for a elevation certificate.

The modelling and analytics capabilities can price homes accurately depending on their environments. Neptune states that 25% of all flood claims were located outside of £high-risk” A and V zones, suggesting all households should consider flood insurance.

Neptune Flood president and CEO Trevor Burgess said, “We are expanding across the country to bring Neptune’s easy to use technology to the normally complex flood insurance market. We’re proud to be able to offer homeowners the protection they require that far surpasses what is offered by the traditional NFIP.”

Last year, AXA XL entered a strategic partnership with Neptune to expand the reach of flood insurance policies in the US.
