Beesafe, which is part of the Vienna Insurance Group, will leverage Tractable’s AI technology to assess car damage and accelerate claim processes.
The deal will see Beesafe use the technology for damaged vehicles in Poland.
It will leverage Tractable’s AI, which evaluates vehicle damage with photos sent via a web application. Its AI produces a damage assessment within seconds, often without the need for further review.
Once Beesafe receives these reports, it will make an immediate payment to the policyholder when appropriate. This whole process can be completed in minutes.
Beesafe CEO Rafal Mosionek said, “With Tractable’s AI, we can provide our policyholders with an accurate and efficient way of assessing damage remotely, allowing us to offer them compensation almost immediately. We’re resolving clients’ problems and helping them recover from accidents almost straight away.”
Tractable’s AI leverages deep learning for computer vision, as well as other machine learning techniques to make accurate decisions. The technology is also able to make recommended repair operations and guides the claims management process.

The InsurTech unicorn recently opened a German subsidiary to expand its operations in the country. It also recently teamed up with Aviva, offering its AI technology to help customers with motor claims.
