Nissim, armed with an impressive 20 years of senior technology expertise, will head the firm’s research and development (R&D) and product development efforts. His appointment comes at a strategic time as Novidea gears up its senior executive team to propel its next phase of global expansion, following the successful completion of its recent Series C funding round.

Their unique software platform leverages an open API architecture, empowering brokers, agents, MGAs, and carriers to modernise and manage the customer insurance journey from start to finish. This comprehensive management approach stimulates growth across the entire insurance distribution lifecycle, reinforcing Novidea’s position as a key player in the global insurance technology landscape.
Erez Nissim brings a wealth of experience from his tenure in senior positions at various global technology companies, where he spearheaded R&D, product, and engineering groups. His recent experience includes serving as Executive Vice President at Playtika, a gaming company valued at $7bn. Nissim’s prior roles include significant contributions at industry-leading firms such as NICE surveillance, Amdocs, Retalix, and SAP.
Nissim’s arrival at Novidea strengthens its leadership team, which has seen a series of strategic appointments over the last 18 months. These include Eran Ben Ezer as CFO, formerly with Imperva, Yaniv Cohen as CCO, a former Verint executive, Julie Shafiki as CMO, previously with Kryon, and Merav Levin-Gadot as VP of Human Resources, from Amdocs. These senior hires demonstrate Novidea’s strong commitment to driving innovation and delivering advanced solutions in the InsurTech arena.
