Cytora

Cytora, a digital risk platform, is scaling new heights by inducting several figures from the insurance sector onto its global advisory board.

This strategic inclusion is aimed at bolstering Cytora’s ambitions of global expansion.

Established as a beacon in the FinTech world, Cytora harnesses artificial intelligence to craft a robust digital risk platform. Their commitment to innovative technology solutions not only aids in accurate risk assessment but also assists global insurers in making informed underwriting decisions.

The newly incorporated members are pioneers in the Commercial and Specialty insurance segments. Notable additions include Bronek Masojada, Chair of SiriusPoint and ex-CEO of Hiscox; Jeffrey Hayman, Chair of R&Q Insurance Holdings and past board member of Zurich Insurance Group; John Bruno, President of Xerox and erstwhile Group COO & CEO of Data & Analytic Services at Aon; and Bill Bloom, who held paramount roles as CIO and Head of Operations at The Hartford and Travelers. These leaders will synergise with the existing top-tier advisory board members of the firm.

Additional notable members of the advisory board encompass figures such as Kelly Lyles from Convex and Howden Group, Thomas Huerlimann of Hiscox, Adrian Brown, formerly with UK RSA, Karen Green associated with Miller Insurance Services, and Alan Morgan, who previously worked as a senior partner at McKinsey focusing on financial services.

Furthermore, in a bid to elevate their risk assessment and underwriting processes, Cytora has recently introduced an enhancement that leverages Large Language Models. This new feature promises unprecedented “accuracy and efficiency” for their clientele.

R&Q Insurance Holdings Chair Jeffrey Hayman remarked, “Cytora is one of the most exciting insurtechs around. I look forward to helping Cytora on its journey to becoming a major global growth company.” Former CIO of The Hartford and Travelers Bill Bloom observed, “Cytora is having a major impact. I look forward to working with Richard and the team to advise them on how this happens.” Lastly, Cytora CEO Richard Hartley commented, “I’d like to welcome our new advisors.
