Swiss-based InsurTech dacadoo has introduced an innovative Apple Watch Reward Programme, enhancing user engagement within their Digital Health Engagement Platform (DHEP).

The initiative aims to promote physical activity and healthy living, aligning with dacadoo’s mission of making the world a healthier place, through the use of their SaaS-based solution.

The move was revealed as part of dacadoo’s ongoing partnership with HLTH, which has lasted for four years. As part of the deal, the Swiss organisation show off their latest products at their exhibitions, and their latest offering is this addition to their DHEP programme.

DHEP is a mobile-first platform that leverages behavioral science, artificial intelligence, and gamification to enhance individuals’ health outcomes. Simultaneously, dacadoo empowers clients from various industry segments to boost customer engagement and loyalty through personalised health experiences.

The InsurTech company specialises in health care, and their suite of innovative products includes the patented health score, a numerical representation of an individual’s health status, and their ground-breaking DHEP solution.

The Apple Watch Reward Programme, integrated into dacadoo’s DHEP, is designed to encourage users to lead healthier lives through the use of connected wearable devices.

An engagement analysis conducted by dacadoo revealed that users with connected wearables had a 30% higher activity rate compared to those without wearables. Furthermore, these users exhibited a 36% higher retention rate after 12 months.

To facilitate the use of wearable devices and empower clients to boost engagement on their platforms, dacadoo has developed a solution that allows users to accumulate points based on various physical activities, ultimately reducing the device’s monthly payment.

Dacadoo has partnered with Apple and established an extensive network of fulfilment partners to manage various aspects, including device shipment, financing, and support agreements.

In addition to the Apple Watch offering, the Swiss company has introduced several platform updates. One noteworthy update is a collection of 35 content articles available in 16 languages, spanning categories such as activity, physical health, mental wellbeing, nutrition, self-control, and mindfulness.

Peter Ohnemus, President and CEO of dacadoo stated, “Digital health has now become mainstream with a “predict and prevent” approach, and hyper-personalisation is becoming a reality in all levels of healthcare.”
