The Digital Insurer (TDI), a leading voice in the InsurTech sector, has announced an exclusive partnership with the Singapore College of Insurance (SCI), a premier provider of professional insurance education.
This collaboration marks a significant step in the development of the GenAI Explorer Program, a pioneering initiative aimed at revolutionizing the insurance industry through generative AI technology.
The GenAI Explorer Program is a groundbreaking global initiative designed to empower insurance professionals with the transformative potential of generative AI. By partnering with SCI, TDI aims to extend the program’s reach within Singapore, providing a tailored learning experience that addresses the unique needs of the insurance industry.
This partnership sees SCI becoming TDI’s exclusive learning partner in Singapore for the GenAI Explorer Program. The program, co-developed with Microsoft, offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes on-demand learning, interactive live sessions, and hands-on experience with GPT tools. Designed for insurance professionals, it aims to foster personal productivity, provide insights into insurance applications of AI, and facilitate practical learning through case studies and expert guidance.
Participants of the GenAI Explorer Program will benefit from a unique library of case studies and the expertise of industry leaders from both TDI and Microsoft. This initiative not only enhances professional development but also supports Singapore’s ambition to be an international financial centre by advancing the skills of its insurance workforce.
TDI Founder and CEO Hugh Terry expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We know that insurers are looking for practical programs to help them adopt generative AI – they are looking for improvements in personal productivity as well as insights into insurance use cases and potential applications across their business which their teams can explore.
“Our exclusive partnership with SCI in Singapore will allow us to reach out to the entire insurance industry in Singapore and also incorporate case studies and relevant perspectives into the program as the rollout and evolution of generative AI continues apace. It is particularly pleasing for TDI to be able to formally work with SCI as we are a Singapore incorporated company.”
