Trawick International, the worldwide travel insurance specialist, has announced the launch of a new portfolio of international student insurance plans, effective immediately.
These new plans are designed as alternatives to traditional college or university health insurance plans for international students and scholars, according to InsurTech Insights.
The company, known for its comprehensive and innovative insurance products, aims to enhance the health coverage options available to students studying abroad.
The introduction of these plans is driven by the need to provide more tailored and affordable health insurance options for international students.
Many students and scholars face high costs and limited coverage with traditional health insurance plans offered by educational institutions. Trawick International aims to bridge this gap by offering competitively priced plans with extensive coverage options.
The firm has been providing student insurance since its inception in 1998, making it one of the company’s longest-standing products.
The company specialises in travel insurance and related services, catering to a wide range of customers globally. Trawick International’s mission is to offer reliable and comprehensive insurance solutions that meet the unique needs of its diverse clientele.
The new Collegiate Care Plans are available to students entering the US on various visas, including F, M, Q, J-1, and F-1 with optional practical training.
These plans offer competitive pricing, multiple deductible options, and extensive coverage features such as a $0 Student Health Center copay, preventative care, mental health benefits, 24/7 multilingual emergency assistance, access to a global network of pharmacies, and telemedicine services via SureGo Virtual Care on most plans.
Trawick International’s plans are customisable, allowing brokers to tailor coverage to meet specific client needs.
The claims administration for these plans will be managed by SureGo Administrative Services, Trawick International’s sister company, ensuring efficient and reliable service.
In addition to the new product launch, Trawick International has recently completed the acquisition of Greenlight Insurance Services, a UK Lloyd’s coverholder established in 1996.
This acquisition expands Trawick’s presence and capabilities in the UK market, further solidifying its position as a global insurance provider.
