Tune Protect Re Limited has teamed up with bolttech Insurance to introduce AirAsia Travel Insurance for travellers flying from Hong Kong.
This initiative is facilitated by AirAsia Berhad, acting as the licensed corporate agent for bolttech Insurance in this partnership.
The partnership aims to offer Hong Kong travellers more convenient and comprehensive travel insurance options on AirAsia flights.
This move is part of Tune Protect’s broader strategy to expand its presence in the region and cater to the evolving needs of modern travellers.
The collaboration between Tune Protect and bolttech leverages bolttech’s expertise in the local insurance market and Tune Protect’s ability to provide affordable and extensive insurance coverage.
AirAsia Travel Insurance will be available on the AirAsia website, AirAsia Move Mobile App, and the Tune Protect AirAsia website.
Travellers departing from Hong Kong can choose between two plans: the Lite Comprehensive Plan and the Plus Comprehensive Plan. These plans offer coverage for personal accidents, trip cancellations, baggage and flight delays, as well as access to 24-hour Worldwide Travel Assistance.
Additionally, a notable feature of this new insurance product is the On-Time Guarantee, which ensures a payout if a customer’s flight is delayed by at least two hours from the original or rescheduled departure time provided by AirAsia.
This aligns with both companies’ goals of enhancing customer experiences by offering valuable and reliable travel protection.
