The launch of the product, known as Cyber Assist, is in partnership with World Travel Protection, a member of the Zurich Insurance Group, according to InsurTech Insights.

The introduction Boxx Insurance’s commitment to addressing the growing risks of cyber threats faced by travellers. With the rising complexity of digital threats, the solution aims to provide a comprehensive and proactive approach to cybersecurity during travel.

The firm provides cybersecurity insurance, risk management solutions, and digital tools designed to mitigate cyber risks.

By integrating technology with insurance services, the company ensures both businesses and individuals have access to modern, user-friendly cybersecurity solutions.

Cyber Assist offers several key features, including real-time threat monitoring, identity protection, and cybersecurity education. This includes proactive identification and alerts for potential cyber threats, assistance with identity theft recovery and fraud resolution, and resources to help travellers navigate online risks securely.

Initially available in Australia, Cyber Assist will soon be rolled out globally through a collaboration with Cover-More Group, another Zurich Insurance Group company. This expansion will enable Boxx Insurance to serve both business and leisure travellers, offering enhanced cyber protection worldwide.

The partnership with World Travel Protection and Cover-More Group not only extends the product’s reach but also strengthens Boxx Insurance’s position as a leader in innovative cybersecurity solutions within the travel sector.

World Travel Protection CEO Adrian Leach said: “Our partnership with BOXX enables us to provide customers with an industry-leading solution that guards against cyber risks while traveling, and alert and support them if credentials are compromised.”

He added: “With the rise of cyber threats targeting travellers, comprehensive protection is more critical than ever and we are pleased to offer this novel solution.”
