Vouch, a leading business insurance provider for high-growth companies, is expanding its ability to provide tailored insurance solutions for startups and flexible workspaces through a new acquisition.

The firm has announced its acquisition of the team and book of business of StartSure Insurance Services, Inc. to achieve this.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, this acquisition aligns with Vouch’s mission to enhance its brokerage capabilities and develop new insurance products.

Alongside the acquisition, Vouch also secured the first close of its Series D funding round, led by Allegis Capital, with participation from all major existing investors. This investment reinforces Vouch’s position as a premier InsurTech provider for high-growth businesses.

The firm specialises in business insurance solutions tailored for startups, offering a digital-first approach to coverage.

It company provides a range of insurance products, including errors and omissions (E&O), directors and officers (D&O) insurance, and cyber liability coverage. By integrating technology, Vouch simplifies the underwriting process, making it more accessible for founders.

StartSure, on the other hand, has built proprietary managing general agent (MGA) programs for coworking and inventory insurance.

The company is known for its streamlined insurance offerings that cater specifically to startups and flexible workspaces, ensuring that these businesses have the coverage they need without complex processes.

As part of the acquisition, StartSure’s team, including CEO Tim DiPietro, will join Vouch. This move will allow StartSure’s existing clients to access a broader suite of insurance products through Vouch’s brokerage team. Simultaneously, Vouch’s clients will benefit from StartSure’s specialised MGA programs, particularly in the coworking and inventory insurance sectors.

Vouch CEO Sam Hodges said, “Through this Series D financing and joining forces with StartSure, Vouch is expanding our capabilities to provide unmatched service and innovative products to high-growth companies. StartSure’s expertise in insuring startups and flexible workspaces aligns perfectly with our mission, and our latest funding will allow us to expand our brokerage capabilities and develop new insurance products.”

StartSure CEO Tim DiPietro added, “Vouch is a natural home for StartSure. We share a commitment to making insurance simple and accessible for founders. Joining forces means our clients will benefit from expanded resources, broader coverage options through Corix, and Vouch’s reputation for exceptional service.”

With the support of Allegis Capital and the integration of StartSure’s expertise, Vouch is accelerating its expansion to ensure startups at all stages have access to high-quality, tailored insurance solutions.
