Broker Insights updates VISION platform to reshape insurance data analytics

Broker Insights, a leading provider of insurance data analytics and market insights, has updated its award-winning insurance decision intelligence platform to deliver enhanced connectivity and deeper insights for both brokers and insurers.

Broker Insights, a leading provider of insurance data analytics and market insights, has updated its award-winning insurance decision intelligence platform to deliver enhanced connectivity and deeper insights for both brokers and insurers.

The revamped Broker Insights VISION comes in response to significant user growth and evolving customer demands.

With Gross Written Premium (GWP) on the VISION platform growing 87% in 2024 alone — now managing over £6bn GWP — the company recognised the need for a more scalable and efficient infrastructure to meet increasing expectations from insurers, MGAs, and brokers.

Feedback from users across the UK, Europe, and the US also informed the development roadmap, signalling a strong appetite for innovation and enhanced functionality.

The changes include a full re-architecture of the platform to unify multiple systems under a single, streamlined technology stack.

The first release, VISION for Insurers, introduces a more intuitive interface, new linked policy views, and broader use of appetite guidance.

Broker users will gain access to the updated platform in the coming months, with additional enhancements planned to support improved engagement, performance, and future innovation — including AI-driven capabilities.

Broker Insights Chief Executive Officer, Peter Scott, explained, “This evolution marks a foundational shift in how insurers and brokers engage with their data, reinforcing our commitment to empowering our partners with the tools they need to succeed in an evolving market.

“Customer feedback from the UK, Europe, and the US has shaped our development roadmap, laying the foundation for future products and the next generation of innovation, including enhanced AI-driven capabilities.

“As more brokers and insurers have adopted VISION and realised its benefits, they naturally asked: ‘What else can it do?’ This high rate of adoption and feedback made it clear that a new approach was needed to unlock our long-term potential.

“The goal wasn’t a complete overhaul of the user interface, but rather, to refine the look and feel and make the experience more intuitive. Our primary focus has been on creating a scalable, unified infrastructure that supports rapid future development and adapts to the evolving needs of our partners and the market, providing a solid foundation for long-term growth. And this is just the beginning — our roadmap includes ground-breaking new capabilities that we’ll be unveiling soon.”

The evolution of VISION represents the platform’s fourth major update since its launch in 2018. What began as a modest broker prospecting tool managing £20m in GWP has grown into a powerful market-wide platform, connecting regional and national brokers with insurers and MGAs.

Broker Insights is now focusing on creating an agile, future-ready foundation that supports both current users and the development of new product capabilities.

Broker Insights co-founder and president Fraser Edmond said, “When we launched in 2018, we knew the market needed a solution. In 2025, we now understand the scale of the opportunity.

“Over the past few years, we’ve been listening, learning, and refining our proposition to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Our experience in the UK — and increasingly in the US — is shaping our product development and strengthening our position as a leading provider of insurance data analytics and market insights.

“The unification of our technology provides us with a robust and adaptable foundation, upon which we can apply the outcomes of research and development and build our next phase of growth.”
