US InsurTech Coalition, a leading provider of cyber risk management solutions, has officially launched its Active Cyber Insurance offering in the Nordic region.
The launch of the Active Cyber Insurance product in the Nordic region represents a strategic move to cater to the growing demand for enhanced cyber risk management solutions in the face of rising cyber threats, according to InsurTech Insights.
With businesses increasingly becoming targets of cyberattacks, Coalition’s new offering aims to provide companies in Denmark and Sweden with the tools and coverage necessary to proactively address digital threats before they materialise.
Coalition is an InsurTech company that blends insurance with advanced technology to offer comprehensive cyber risk management solutions.
By leveraging its proprietary platform, the company provides businesses with proactive tools to mitigate and manage digital threats.
Its flagship product, Coalition Control®, continuously monitors clients’ digital environments, identifying vulnerabilities and potential risks. The platform aims to prevent cyber incidents before they occur, offering a more proactive approach compared to traditional insurance models.
The Active Cyber Insurance offering integrates Coalition’s cyber insurance coverage with powerful risk management tools.
The solution combines traditional insurance protection with access to cybersecurity insights and resources that help businesses better understand and mitigate digital risks. Coalition’s platform allows brokers to generate bindable quotes quickly, while also providing training resources for clients to improve their cybersecurity practices.
In case of a cyber incident, Coalition’s claims and incident response teams are available to offer support and help businesses recover swiftly.
The coverage available in Denmark is now live, with Sweden set to follow suit on May 8, 2025. The product is designed for businesses with up to DKK 7.5 billion or SEK 11 billion in annual revenue, and there is no minimum premium requirement.
Allianz Commercial, a global insurer, provides the underwriting capacity for the coverage through a multi-year agreement. While Coalition’s Active Cyber Insurance model is available to businesses in Denmark and Sweden, Allianz’s existing cyber insurance offering will continue to serve more complex and multinational risk profiles.
Allianz Commercial, in collaboration with Coalition, aims to expand its support for clients in the Nordic region.
Margaretha Mo, Managing Director for the Nordics at Allianz Commercial, noted that cyber risks are among the greatest threats facing businesses worldwide, highlighting the need for a solution that helps companies identify and prevent cyber damages more effectively.
“Businesses within the Nordics will benefit from access to an offering that combines comprehensive insurance with meaningful cybersecurity insights and tools to help them manage and mitigate cyber threats,” said Tine Simonsen, Head of Insurance for Continental Europe at Coalition. “As cyber threats grow exponentially, preventing digital risk before it strikes has never been more important.”
“As our 2025 Allianz Risk Barometer has once again shown, cyber risks are among the greatest threats to companies worldwide,” said Margaretha Mo, Managing Director for the Nordics at Allianz Commercial. “Through our collaboration with Coalition, we are broadening our support for clients in Denmark and Sweden by offering access to a solution that helps identify and prevent cyber damages more effectively.”
