The renewed alliance is part of Porch’s broader strategy to scale its insurance operations, strengthen its agency distribution channels, and launch its new insurance entity, the Porch Reciprocal Exchange, in early 2025, according to InsurTech Insights.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to delivering innovative solutions to the U.S. homeowners insurance market.

Porch’s move to expand the partnership with Goosehead comes at a pivotal growth phase. The upcoming launch of the Porch Reciprocal Exchange is a key milestone, aimed at driving profitable premium growth.

The company plans to leverage its proprietary data to enhance risk selection and underwriting performance, positioning itself as a data-powered, high-margin insurance operator.

Porch Group, founded to provide technology solutions for the home services and insurance industry, has evolved into a full-stack InsurTech provider.

It offers homeowners insurance products while using data and technology to optimise operations and risk management. Its portfolio includes Homeowners of America, which already works closely with Goosehead.

Goosehead Insurance, headquartered in Texas, is an independent personal lines insurance agency that partners with more than 150 insurance companies. It combines a nationwide network of agents with a digital platform to offer consumers customisable insurance products.

The expanded partnership will see Goosehead offer Porch’s newly launched insurance product, beginning with a rollout in Texas. This builds on its existing collaboration with Homeowners of America and introduces Porch Insurance to Goosehead’s growing client base.

Both companies see the collaboration as a strategic opportunity to align their strengths—Porch’s technology and data-driven underwriting, and Goosehead’s extensive agent network and customer relationships—to deliver enhanced insurance offerings.
