CLARA Analytics, a provider of AI-driven solutions for claims optimisation in the insurance sector, has launched two new tools, Triage Risk Notes and Claim Event Indicators, aimed at enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of claims management.

The launch addresses mounting pressure on claims organisations to utilise advanced analytics in order to improve operational productivity and decision-making.

By equipping insurers with continuous oversight throughout the life cycle of each claim, the tools are designed to eliminate delays and reduce losses stemming from missed opportunities.

Founded to bring AI innovation into insurance claims management, CLARA Analytics uses predictive analytics to improve claim outcomes, reduce costs and support more intelligent decision-making for insurers. The company focuses primarily on workers’ compensation and is expanding into auto and general liability sectors.

The new product suite forms part of CLARA Triage and is aimed at enabling claims teams to proactively manage and prioritise their caseloads.

Triage Risk Notes offers clear, explainable AI insights, summarising both structured and unstructured claim data into dynamic narratives. These summaries are updated automatically as new data enters the file, helping adjusters quickly understand risk drivers and identify necessary actions.

Claim Event Indicators complement this functionality by identifying pivotal moments in the claim lifecycle.

These AI-powered signals detect early-, mid- and late-stage claim events, from first notice of loss and treatment milestones to litigation and settlement triggers. This allows claims managers to act quickly and strategically, using data-driven prompts rather than relying on periodic manual reviews.

Together, Risk Notes and Claim Event Indicators offer a transformational shift in claims operations. Features such as proactive alerts, automated intelligence, strategic focus and dynamic adaptation are designed to optimise resource allocation and support faster, more accurate claim resolution.

The tools are initially available for workers’ compensation claims, with rollout to auto and general liability claims expected in the coming months. More details are available on the CLARA Analytics website.

CLARA Analytics CEO Heather H. Wilson said, “The insurance industry has relied on retrospective sample file reviews for far too long. We’re applying AI strategically to lead the industry forward. By taking a more proactive approach, powered by intelligence, every single claim can be handled more efficiently than ever before, with unparalleled accuracy and precision. This saves time, money and frustration.”

Wilson added, “We’re not replacing human expertise — we’re amplifying it with smarter tools that provide continuous oversight and strategic guidance. That’s what this launch is about, and we will continue to push the envelope with AI innovation for the betterment of the insurance industry.”
