OneShield has launched the OneShield AI Hub, marking what the company describes as the industry’s first centralised environment for the secure development, deployment, and governance of artificial intelligence solutions specifically tailored to the insurance ecosystem.
The new product was introduced to address the growing demand for collaborative, secure AI platforms that accelerate innovation and improve operational efficiency across insurers, managing general agents (MGAs), and third-party providers, according to InsurTech Insights.
The firm provides InsurTech solutions across core areas of policy administration, claims management, and market connectivity, helping insurers and MGAs modernise operations and improve customer experiences.
Its offerings include OneShield Enterprise (OSE), a comprehensive suite for carrier operations, and OneShield Market Solutions (OMS), designed to enhance market-facing interactions.
The OneShield AI Hub is designed as a secure, collaborative environment where OneShield teams, clients, and partners can learn, build, and deploy AI-powered tools.
At launch, it will include foundational AI agents and large language model (LLM)-based tools aimed at accelerating high-impact insurance use cases.
The AI Hub supports innovation across OneShield’s two core product lines. For OSE, an AI agent capable of parsing and structuring SERFF filings in minutes—a process that previously took hours—is already in testing. For OMS, ongoing projects include automated claims triage and intelligent policy summarisation. The platform offers a shared foundation of tools, security, and governance to speed delivery while ensuring quality and compliance.
Doug Moore, Chief Innovation Officer at OneShield, said, “What makes the AI Hub special is its intentional design for interoperability and scale. By grounding our use cases in Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) standards, we’re not just automating, we’re laying the foundation for a truly intelligent, collaborative ecosystem across carriers, MGAs, and third-party tools.”
Tony Villa, CEO of OneShield, said, “This is more than a technology launch; it’s the start of a new era of intelligent insurance operations. The AI Hub will transform how we build and deliver software while empowering insurers to operate faster, smarter, and with greater agility than ever before.”
Liza Petrie, President of OSE, and Rex Blazevich, President of OMS, also highlighted the hub’s potential to improve efficiency and accelerate AI innovation across OneShield’s product lines.
