HappyRobot, an AI enterprise platform developer based in the US, has formed a strategic partnership with Tokio Marine Future Fund, the venture arm of Japan’s leading insurance group Tokio Marine.

The collaboration follows HappyRobot’s $44m Series B funding round and aims to advance the development of its AI operating system for the real economy—supporting industries such as logistics, manufacturing, and retail—while driving its expansion into Japan and across Asia, according to the Coverager.

The partnership is designed to strengthen HappyRobot’s footprint in key Asian markets and support the adoption of AI-driven operational systems across enterprise sectors.

With Tokio Marine Future Fund’s strategic investment and network in Japan, the alliance will help accelerate regional market entry and foster innovation in enterprise automation.

HappyRobot, founded less than two years ago, develops AI-powered “workers” designed to streamline complex enterprise processes.

The company’s technology helps improve efficiency, reduce manual errors, and enhance visibility across large-scale logistics and manufacturing operations. Its clients include major enterprises such as DHL, Ryder, and Schneider, which leverage HappyRobot’s AI systems to optimise supply chain workflows.

The $44m Series B round saw participation from other notable investors including Base10 Partners, a16z, and Samsara Ventures, underscoring strong confidence in HappyRobot’s business model and market potential.

Tokio Marine Future Fund managing partner Yuto Nash Nakanishi said, “We are excited to partner with HappyRobot. We believe that their AI workforce has the potential to redefine enterprise operations by reducing inefficiencies, improving visibility, and mitigating execution risk across the global supply chain.”
