Coalition, the world’s first Active Insurance provider designed to prevent digital risk before it strikes, has named Frank Fumarola as its new chief product officer.
Fumarola will join Coalition’s executive team and report directly to Joshua Motta, Coalition’s CEO and co-founder, helping guide the company’s product strategy as it expands into new markets and strengthens its Active Insurance offerings.
“Our products are central to our ability to deliver Active Insurance to businesses of all sizes, especially as we expand into new markets,” said Motta. “Frank’s experience in and passion for leading product teams to scale platforms that power positive customer experiences is paramount to Coalition’s mission to protect the unprotected.”
Fumarola joins Coalition from Nubank, where he led a team focused on global platforms and core systems, overseeing the mobile app, customer experience, and infrastructure supporting nearly 130 million customers.
Prior to Nubank, he served as vice president of ads and shopping product and product marketing at Pinterest.
“I’ve spent my career scaling world-class platforms for mass adoption and growth. Now, I am excited to bring that mindset to help accelerate Coalition’s product vision to improve our policyholders’ resilience,” Fumarola commented. “Digital risk is one of the most critical threats to businesses today, and I believe that Coalition’s combination of proactive security and comprehensive coverage is the right model to help organizations protect against that risk.”
