The new product was developed in response to the persistent administrative burdens faced by insurers and MGAs, which often slow down growth, reduce efficiency, and increase operational costs, according to FF News.

Nora aims to automate repetitive tasks, freeing insurance professionals to focus on higher-value, strategic activities.

The modular AI solution sits atop existing insurance software, automating a wide range of administrative tasks, including submissions, underwriting, and claims management. By functioning as a set of specialised, customisable skills, Nora adapts to the workflows of each client, helping insurers and MGAs reduce workloads while maintaining operational control.

The platform’s capabilities include data extraction and capture, automated email and phone follow-ups, an underwriting guide reader, and broker submission triage. Its modular approach allows clients to select the specific skills that address their key pain points, while new modules are continuously added as use cases evolve. Integration can occur at critical points in the insurance workflow, with human oversight and escalation configured to client preferences.

Nora builds on Insly’s previous AI initiatives, including FormFlow, launched in 2024. FormFlow’s extraction capabilities are now integrated into Nora, creating a more comprehensive AI ecosystem. The product was developed based on customer feedback to ensure it directly addresses real-world insurance challenges and can operate alongside Insly’s core insurance software or other existing systems.
