Insurity launches Borealis to streamline P&C workflows
Insurity, a cloud-based software provider for property and casualty insurers, brokers and MGAs, has launched its Borealis product release, introducing enhancements designed to improve speed, clarity and reliability across the insurance lifecycle.
The release focuses on removing operational friction that affects loss ratios, cycle times and compliance exposure, replacing manual workarounds, document-heavy claims processes and fragmented data with stronger governance and streamlined workflows.
Borealis delivers updates across policy administration, claims, analytics and specialty lines, including asynchronous imports for large vehicle and location schedules that allow users to continue working while data processes in the background with automated completion alerts.
A redesigned user experience reduces scrolling, improves visual hierarchy and highlights required inputs, with Insurity stating customers can achieve efficiency and throughput improvements of 20% or more.
Enhanced analytics functionality enables users to maintain portfolio and location context while manipulating pop-out windows directly on maps, cutting dashboard analysis time by 5–10% and accelerating decisions that influence loss ratios and premium leakage.
The release also introduces guided no-code workflows to compare predictive modelling approaches and move high-potential machine learning models into production more quickly, alongside AI-guided premium audit self-service and a modernised interface for marine shipment reporting.
Expanded electronic payment capabilities for workers’ compensation reduce printing and mailing costs while supporting recurring indemnity payments, resending payment selection emails and tracking rejected payments.
Insurity president Jatin Atre said, “Borealis is about giving insurers a decisive operational edge. With redesigned policy admin screens, faster data imports, and smarter data analysis, we’re removing the friction that slows teams down and introducing AI and workflows that actually help them move faster. In a market that rewards speed and precision, Borealis ensures our customers are the ones setting the pace, not reacting to it.”
The launch forms part of Insurity’s broader $50m investment in research and development, underscoring its strategy to deliver continuous innovation with measurable operational impact for P&C insurers.
