Insurity, a leading provider of cloud-based software for insurance carriers, brokers, and managing general agents (MGAs), has named Sylvester Mathis as its new chief revenue officer.
Mathis, who has been with Insurity for 19 years, will retain his role as chief insurance officer while stepping into this new leadership position.
Insurity delivers cloud-based software solutions designed to support insurance carriers, brokers, and MGAs in streamlining operations.
Its suite of products includes AI-driven predictive analytics, policy administration, billing, and claims management, alongside bureau-managed services.
The company focuses on enabling insurers to navigate the complexities of regulatory compliance and market demands efficiently.
Mathis brings over 35 years of industry expertise to his dual roles. His extensive background spans leadership positions in underwriting operations, claims management, and regulatory affairs.
As chief insurance officer, Mathis restructured Insurity’s regulatory offerings, aligning them with commercial insurance sector trends, and established the Insurance Office to guide corporate strategy.
In his new role, Mathis will lead efforts to address industry challenges such as rising costs, regulatory obligations, and technological advancements, while fostering innovation in client-centric solutions.
Mathis’s career includes senior leadership positions at prominent firms, including LexisNexis, Allianz, Fireman’s Fund, Navistar, and North American Insurance Group.
He has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs, making him a key driver of Insurity’s success.
In addition to strengthening customer relationships, he plans to expand partnerships and enhance training and support services to boost client satisfaction.
