Cytora, a digital risk processing platform for insurers, has partnered with Ideal Postcodes to integrate address validation and postcode intelligence into its underwriting workflows.
The collaboration brings Ideal Postcodes’ datasets directly into the Cytora platform, allowing commercial insurers to automatically capture, verify and cleanse property addresses during the submission and underwriting process.
Underwriters will gain access to rooftop-level geocodes, Unique Property Reference Numbers (UPRN) and comprehensive UK and international address datasets. These data points help insurers correct errors through automated matching and improve geographic accuracy when evaluating property risks.
By embedding address intelligence into the ingestion workflow, the integration aims to reduce data entry errors, improve risk pricing accuracy and help insurers manage exposure more effectively at the building level.
Juan de Castro, COO, Cytora, said, “Accurate location data is foundational to commercial property underwriting. Through our partnership with Ideal Postcodes, we are providing our clients with seamless access to high-precision UPRN and rooftop-level data. By embedding this intelligence directly into our risk ingestion workflows, we are empowering insurers to make faster, more accurate pricing and risk selection decisions with total confidence in their geographic data.”
Christopher Blanchard, Founder, Ideal Postcodes, said, “We are thrilled to partner with Cytora to bring our comprehensive address validation datasets to the commercial insurance market. By integrating our UPRN and global address data directly into Cytora’s advanced AI platform, we are helping insurers eliminate data entry errors, cleanse their property schedules, and gain precise visibility into the locations they are underwriting.”
Cytora said the partnership forms part of its broader strategy to expand the data ecosystem around its generative AI-driven risk processing platform. The company has recently expanded its collaborations with insurers and data providers to improve underwriting efficiency and decision-making.
