Canopy Connect has launched a new sharing path feature for its Insurance Intake Platform, designed to give insurance prospects more flexibility in how they share their insurance information.

The update introduces a configurable intake selection screen within the platform’s Link Flow, allowing users to choose how they want to submit their insurance details, according to FF News.

Prospects are presented with four intake options: connecting directly to their insurance carrier account, uploading a declarations page or other insurance document, completing a manual form, or requesting a phone call from their agent through a “Contact Me” option.

Insurance agencies using the platform can customise which options appear for prospects and configure the feature directly within Canopy Connect’s Flow Builder.

Tolga Tezel, founder and CEO of Canopy Connect, said: “Not every client wants to share their insurance information the same way. Some want to connect their carrier account. Some would rather upload a dec page. Others prefer a form. And some just want you to call them. We built this because our customers told us they needed it—and now their clients have a clear, simple choice.”

The new feature consolidates several intake methods into a single interface, combining existing capabilities such as carrier account connections, document uploads with intelligent data parsing and custom data-entry forms.

According to the company, the feature was developed in response to feedback from insurance agencies that observed some prospects abandoning the intake process when available options were unclear or did not match their preferred method of engagement.

By presenting multiple submission paths upfront, Canopy Connect aims to help agencies capture more prospects while maintaining streamlined internal workflows.

The sharing path feature is now available to all Canopy Connect users on eligible plans that support Link Flows. Agencies can enable the functionality through the Flow Builder by activating the sharing path screens within the login section.

The feature will also be enabled by default for newly created intake flows going forward.
