Volkswagen Financial Services UK, the financial arm of the group, has appointed InsurTech firm Wrisk Transfer Limited as its preferred insurance provider for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
The partnership is designed to enhance VWFS UK’s insurance proposition for commercial vehicle customers across the UK, according to FF News.
Under the agreement, customers will receive up to three days of complimentary “Drive Away” insurance when collecting their vehicle, alongside access to a no-obligation monthly quote for a fully comprehensive van insurance policy.
The offering aims to simplify the process of getting insured while supporting customers throughout the vehicle ownership journey.
James Taylor, Head of Product (non-asset based) at VWFS UK, said, “By offering motor insurance, we are extending our relationship with customers beyond finance, helping to make it easier to get on the road and stay protected.
“This partnership reflects our focus on delivering simple, practical solutions that support customers throughout their ownership journey. Customers will benefit from access to Volkswagen Approved Repair centres and genuine parts in the event of an accident, and cover for tools damaged or stolen whilst in the van.”
Wrisk, which partners with several automotive brands, provides digital insurance solutions tailored to modern vehicle owners and businesses.
