The appointment is designed to support Gallagher’s strategy of building a stronger footprint in Spain through a combination of organic growth and the integration of specialist capabilities. In her new role, Matarranz will lead the company’s Spanish operations, focusing on driving growth and integrating specialist teams to strengthen service delivery. She brings more than 20 years of experience across insurance, financial services and consulting, having held senior roles at WTW, Howden, MAPFRE and Caser-Helvetia.
