ERGO NEXT launches embedded insurance for TikTok sellers

ERGO NEXT Insurance has partnered with TikTok Shop to offer embedded business insurance products to eligible sellers using the e-commerce platform.

ERGO NEXT Insurance has partnered with TikTok Shop to offer embedded business insurance products to eligible sellers using the e-commerce platform.

The digital InsurTech company is enabling TikTok Shop merchants to obtain quotes and purchase insurance directly through Seller Center, allowing sellers to access coverage without leaving the platform, according to FF News.

The integration is designed to simplify access to insurance for growing online businesses, with sellers able to purchase general liability, professional liability, workers’ compensation and cyber insurance entirely online.

ERGO NEXT said the partnership aims to help e-commerce businesses manage risks linked to scaling operations, including product liability, inventory damage and cyber threats.

The company believes embedding insurance directly into commerce platforms removes traditional barriers associated with purchasing cover and creates a more streamlined experience for digital-first businesses.

The move also reflects growing demand for embedded insurance services across e-commerce ecosystems, where insurers are increasingly integrating products directly into online marketplaces and business platforms.

TikTok Shop sellers can now secure tailored insurance products within minutes through the platform’s Seller Center interface.

ERGO NEXT said the integration supports its wider strategy of expanding access to small business and e-commerce insurance through the platforms entrepreneurs already use to run their businesses.

ERGO NEXT Insurance vice president of partnerships Henry Tam said, “As e-commerce sellers scale, their risk changes.

“Insurance is a foundational tool that helps sellers grow with confidence, protecting their business so they can keep investing in what’s next. By making ERGO NEXT’s digital insurance available to TikTok Shop sellers, we’re meeting entrepreneurs where they are with a streamlined option for purchasing coverage that can be tailored to their business needs.”

The company added that the integration forms part of its broader mission to make insurance more proactive and accessible for modern digital businesses by embedding protection directly into online workflows and marketplaces.
