Alliant Insurance Services has announced the creation of ASCEND (Alliant Safety Coalition for Education, Networking and Development), a new industry body established by its Alliant Transportation division to help commercial transport leaders convert real-world data into actionable risk management strategies.
The coalition will bring together safety, operations and claims professionals from across the commercial transportation sector to address some of the industry’s most pressing challenges. Among the key areas of focus are cargo theft and fraud, litigation including nuclear verdicts, as well as maintenance scrutiny and operational exposure.
Members will work collectively on risk-reduction strategies, policies, standard operating procedures and incident review frameworks, with the aim of strengthening safety, compliance and overall profitability.
ASCEND has been structured to encourage open dialogue and the sharing of knowledge, giving transportation leaders the tools and insight required to navigate an increasingly complex risk landscape.
