Sixfold, an AI-powered underwriting solution provider for global insurers, has announced a strategic alliance with Adnovum, a Swiss technology and consulting firm focused on secure digital transformation for the insurance sector, to bring its underwriting AI platform to the DACH region.
Through the agreement, Adnovum will incorporate Sixfold’s solution into its broader insurance transformation offering across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, with Adnovum’s delivery teams leading implementation and integration work. The arrangement allows DACH-based insurers to harness AI capabilities to achieve more responsive and future-ready underwriting operations.
Sixfold’s platform is designed to automate submission intake, prioritise risks, and generate recommendations aligned with an insurer’s own underwriting guidelines. Specialised agents handle submissions autonomously, freeing underwriters to focus on the cases and judgements that carry the most weight. The solution is built to slot into existing systems and workflows, keeping deployment straightforward and reducing time to value.
The tie-up marks another step in Sixfold’s expanding European presence. The company already works with insurers including Generali GC&C, Mosaic, and Zurich, and is broadening its regional footprint through partnerships that pair its global platform with local delivery capability, regulatory knowledge, and established carrier relationships.
Adnovum brings over three decades of experience delivering complex technology projects within regulatory environments. The firm supports insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and specialist providers across the full insurance value chain, with a focus on modernising core operations and improving agility and long-term scalability.
The two companies are set to make their first joint public appearance at the HZ Insurance Forum in Zurich on 11 June, where they will co-host an expert lunch exploring how insurers can develop AI-fluent underwriting teams. The session will bring together underwriting leaders from across the DACH region to discuss the practical steps involved in embedding AI into underwriting operations and culture.
