Patra, an InsurTech firm operating one of the insurance industry’s largest production-grade agentic AI platforms, has announced a raft of senior leadership appointments intended to drive its next phase of growth.
The hires are designed to advance Patra’s positioning as an outcome-focused operating partner, combining its agentic AI platform with human expertise to deliver competitive advantages to clients at scale. The company said the additions are intended to build the leadership infrastructure needed to match its operational and technological ambitions.
Five appointments have been made across key functions. Gene Linetsky joins as chief digital officer, responsible for directing how Patra deploys intelligent automation across production environments to strengthen enterprise value. Akhil Verma takes up the role of SVP, business operations Asia Pacific, leading the company’s regional operations and expanding capacity for its AI-powered insurance solutions. John Markos has been appointed SVP, client experience and growth, where he will work to ensure Patra’s transformation delivers tangible value to the agencies, brokers, MGAs, and carriers it serves. Joanna Rogers becomes SVP, marketing, taking charge of brand evolution, go-to-market strategy, and demand generation. Shonna Andersen joins as SVP, human resources, tasked with reshaping Patra’s people strategy to suit an AI-led working environment, spanning talent acquisition, workforce design, and cultural development.
Patra provides insurance outsourcing and technology services, serving agencies, brokers, MGAs, and carriers. The company combines deep insurance domain expertise with AI-driven automation, and positions itself as an operational partner that pairs its agentic AI platform with experienced professionals to deliver measurable client outcomes.
The announcements follow a period of sustained investment in the company’s AI capabilities, with Patra emphasising that its platform is already operating in production environments rather than at a conceptual or pilot stage.
Patra CEO Pratap Sarker said, “Patra’s existing leadership team brings decades of deep insurance industry expertise, and we’ve made significant investments to build AI that works in production, not as a concept, but as a core part of how we deliver for our clients today. That’s the foundation everything else is built on. These appointments bring expanded capabilities in transformation, AI, marketing, and client experience that are essential to shape the future of this company, and this industry. Together, this combination will allow us to deliver measurable outcomes for the agencies, brokers, and carriers who trust us with their operations.”
