Indico Data, the Intake & Orchestration Platform for insurance operations, has agreed a partnership with HDI Global US to modernise how complex corporate and specialty insurance work enters and moves through the carrier’s operations.
The collaboration will initially concentrate on casualty workflows in the US, covering general liability, excess and construction lines. Indico’s platform will be used to ingest, enrich, validate, route and orchestrate complex insurance submissions across different geographies, lines of business and operating models.
The partnership supports HDI’s Xcelerate29 strategy, under which the insurer is pursuing targeted international growth, sharpening underwriting and claims performance, and applying AI and data more broadly across its corporate and specialty insurance operations.
A central element of that plan involves improving efficiency across core underwriting systems and the workflows that sit beneath them.
Rather than focusing purely on faster document processing, Indico’s insurance-native platform is built to convert inconsistent inputs into clean, complete and system-ready outputs.
Indico Data develops the Intake & Orchestration Platform used by insurance carriers to modernise how operational work enters and progresses through their organisations. The platform ingests, enriches, validates and orchestrates unstructured data across underwriting, claims and servicing functions, converting variable documents into structured, system-ready outputs that can be routed automatically to relevant teams and systems.
Kashif Syed, Chief Information & Transformation Officer at HDI Global US, said, “HDI Global’s Xcelerate29 strategy depends on scaling complex corporate and specialty insurance operations without compromising quality, speed, or control.
“Modernizing intake is an important step in that journey. With Indico, we can strengthen how complex submissions and related work are captured, validated, and moved through the business, giving our teams better visibility and more consistent operational execution.”
Indico Data CEO Tom Wilde said, “Insurance modernization does not start downstream. It starts at the front door. HDI understands that growth, specialty expertise, and operational excellence all depend on how effectively work enters the enterprise and moves to the teams and systems that need it. We’re proud to work with HDI as it builds a more scalable operating model for corporate and specialty insurance.”
