INTX Insurance Software, a global provider of end-to-end P&C policy management systems, has officially entered the North American market.
The expansion into North America comes in response to growing demand from insurance stakeholders for more agile, integrated, and cost-effective core systems, according to InsurTech Insights.
Insurers across the region have long faced the challenge of navigating fragmented software environments and steep implementation costs—challenges INTX aims to eliminate with its unified platform.
Founded by insurance professionals and built over 23 years, INTX offers a fully integrated software suite for managing the full lifecycle of property and casualty insurance policies. It supports a diverse set of market participants including reinsurers, mutuals, MGAs, and captives. The platform’s goal is to simplify core processes and deliver scalable, real-time insights across enterprise operations.
The INTX system integrates advanced AI, predictive analytics, and configurable tools, enabling insurers to streamline operations from quote and bind to claims and billing. Its unified platform removes the need for complex integrations, while offering a broker portal, built-in reinsurance capabilities, and support for reserving and compliance.
A key differentiator in the North American rollout is INTX’s zero implementation fee model. This approach removes a major barrier for adoption and significantly reduces the upfront financial burden for insurers. Additionally, clients benefit from rapid deployment and an intuitive interface tailored to complex, multi-national insurance operations.
One early adopter in the region is Xitus Insurance, a company specialising in discontinued insurance solutions through acquisitions and loss portfolio transfers. Xitus became INTX’s first North American client in July 2024 and reports significant improvements since implementation. The platform delivered measurable results within three months, fully customised to Xitus’s multi-currency and cross-border needs.
Among the platform’s features are real-time dashboards and reporting tools that enhance compliance, enable predictive modelling, and provide a single source of truth for decision-makers. By consolidating data and processes, INTX empowers insurers to minimise risk and operate more strategically in a competitive landscape.
INTX CEO Robert Lewis said, “The limitations of most P&C policy management software are a continual source of frustration for customers because they were built as point solutions, not with the entire ecosystem in mind. Assembling ‘best of breed’ solutions is no better, requiring complex and costly integration, and greater resources to maintain, with limited cross silo integration. INTX was created by insurance professionals who saw the need for a single-platform, end-to-end solution that addresses the needs of all market participants across the entire insurance policy lifecycle.”
Lewis added, “We are excited to now bring our solution—built on Microsoft technology and proven with insurers around the globe—to North America.”
Xitus Insurance chief operating officer Ben Dovey said, “We have been incredibly impressed with the ease of use and robust capabilities provided by the INTX solution. We were up and running in just three months with a solution completely customised to our multi-national, multi-currency needs. INTX has transformed the way we manage our business through seamless data delivery, providing us with real-time insights into what we are doing today and what is possible tomorrow.”
