InsurTech RoofMarketplace lands $7m Series A funding

RoofMarketplace, an InsurTech company reinventing the roofing claims process, has marked a significant milestone with a strategic funding round and leadership update.

The firm has secured a $7m Series A investment led by Wingra Capital to fuel its long-term ambitions.

RoofMarketplace operates a trusted digital marketplace that transforms how roofing claims are managed. Its platform connects homeowners, insurance carriers, adjusters, and vetted local contractors to streamline roof repairs and replacements, ensuring quality work at competitive prices with minimal hassle.

The fresh capital injection will help RoofMarketplace accelerate product development, scale its team, and enhance its reach within the insurance ecosystem.

The company plans to expand its platform’s capabilities to handle a broader range of claim types, increase workforce capacity to meet growing demand, and deepen its network of insurance industry partners.

To strengthen its next growth phase, RoofMarketplace recently appointed Scott Holewinski as CEO. Holewinski, who has over two decades of experience at the intersection of technology and risk management, previously founded and led Tetra Defense, a cybersecurity company acquired by Arctic Wolf in 2022. He also co-founded Gillware Data Services, which was acquired by StorageCraft in 2016.

The company has added two other senior leaders as well. Brian Beermann joins as chief technology officer, bringing SaaS and engineering leadership expertise from UW Credit Union and Digioh. Lauren Reid steps in as vice president of marketing & communications, leveraging her background from Tetra Defense and Arctic Wolf, where she worked closely with national insurance carriers and brokers.

Wingra Capital partner Nick Jackson said, “With RoofMarketplace, we see a platform that doesn’t just reduce friction, it gets roofs repaired in a more efficient, reliable way. They’re delivering what the claims industry has needed for years: real bids, completed jobs, and satisfied policyholders. We’re excited to support their continued growth.”

RoofMarketplace CEO Scott Holewinski said, “What drew me to RoofMarketplace is how clearly the platform solves a real problem for everyone involved—insurance carriers, contractors, and homeowners. In just a few months with the team, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful the model is. We’re not just improving the process; we’re driving better outcomes where it counts.”
