Sapiens International Corporation, a global provider of insurance software solutions, has partnered with Encova Insurance to reduce the time-intensive demands of regression testing during system upgrades.
The collaboration will see the launch of Sapiens’ Automated Testing Services (ATS), which will provide Encova with faster software updates, improved quality assurance and greater focus on strategic initiatives, according to FF News.
Sapiens provides end-to-end software solutions for insurers, including digital platforms, core systems and data analytics, with its CoreSuite for Workers’ Compensation solution already in place at Encova.
The company recently launched ATS, a new service designed to reduce testing time, improve consistency and deliver greater flexibility in operational environments.
Encova is a mutual insurer offering a wide range of property and casualty products. By deploying ATS into its existing CoreSuite for Workers’ Compensation environment, Encova will leverage Sapiens’ pre-built automated regression test suite, updated with every product release, as well as customised test cases designed for its operational needs. This is expected to shorten testing cycles while ensuring repeatable and high-quality test coverage.
The service is powered by Microsoft Playwright, an open-source testing tool, combined with a bespoke framework developed by Sapiens. Beyond product coverage, Encova will receive tailored support including training to create automated test cases for its customised code, further enhancing flexibility.
The implementation began in April 2025, with the first automated testing scheduled to support Encova’s October upgrade.
Sapiens’ CoreSuite for Workers’ Compensation is a cloud-enabled, full-featured solution designed for large insurers. It integrates PolicyPro and ClaimsPro components to streamline the management of workers’ compensation policies and claims.
“Sapiens continues to be a valued partner and Automated Testing Services is the latest example of how they proactively empower us to modernize our operations,” said Encova executive vice president and chief information officer Ramu Lingala. “Sapiens’ ATS will reduce our testing effort, improve the quality of our releases, and free us up for business-critical and strategic priorities.”
“We’re proud to deepen our relationship with Encova through the launch of our Automated Testing Services,” said Sapiens president and CEO Roni Al-Dor. “By reducing the time and resources required for testing and improving software quality, ATS will enable our clients to upgrade more frequently, respond faster to market demands, and enhance their operational resilience.”
