Alacrity launches Lloyd’s base to handle US claims

Alacrity Solutions, a US insurance services provider specialising in complex and catastrophe claims, has launched a UK presence at Lloyd’s of London to support insurers placing US risks through the market.

The company has been approved as a Lloyd’s delegated claims administrator (DCA) and will provide US-based claims handling for property, auto, casualty, catastrophe and specialty risks written through the London Market.

Alacrity manages more than one million claims each year across hundreds of insurer clients, handling the full lifecycle from first notification of loss to settlement. The firm also provides services including temporary housing, contents valuation, claim file audits, and subrogation and recovery support.

The UK launch reflects growing demand from Lloyd’s insurers and managing agents for US claims partners able to manage complex claims at scale while meeting London Market standards for oversight, reporting and governance.
