Clearcover, a digital-first InsurTech specialising in car insurance, has launched a new auto insurance product in Florida alongside its “26 for ’26” agent incentive programme, aiming to deliver flexible, transparent cover while boosting agent engagement.

The launch is designed to address affordability and accessibility challenges in the Florida auto insurance market.

Clearcover’s product removes common cost barriers such as late fees, cancellation fees and reinstatement charges, while offering flexible payment schedules aligned with customers’ pay cycles.

The firm provides digital auto insurance solutions focused on simplifying coverage through technology. Its platform enables customers to access quotes, manage policies and handle claims entirely online, with an emphasis on transparency and user control.

The new Florida product allows drivers to choose weekly, biweekly or monthly payment plans, access lower upfront costs and secure same-day coverage where eligible. Policies are managed digitally via Clearcover’s app, supporting fast claims processing and payouts. Eligible customers can also access Car Care, a discounted vehicle maintenance programme offering average annual savings of up to 25%.

The rollout also includes the “26 for ’26” programme, running from May to December 2026, which incentivises agents through cash prizes, rewards and commission enhancements. Agents earn entries for prizes based on policies written, while agencies and network groups can unlock additional incentives, including commission boosts and contingency bonuses of up to 26 percentage points.

Florida marks the first market for the product, with further state expansions planned later in 2026. The launch comes as insurance coverage gaps remain significant, with more than 20% of Florida drivers uninsured and nearly 40% underinsured.

“Clearcover is here to give everyone a better way to get insured—one that’s affordable, flexible and built around their needs,” Clearcover CEO and co-founder Kyle Nakatsuji said. “Our expansion into Florida is the reinvention of what auto insurance should be, eliminating barriers to help more drivers access transparent coverage with real control over their payments and policies.”

“We built 26 for ’26 around something simple: agents writing Florida non-standard auto should have a real reason to choose Clearcover first,” Clearcover senior vice president, insurance product & growth Seth Henderson said. “The product is purpose-built to work for their customers while the program gives agents top-of-the-line compensation.”
