NeoXam, a global provider of software solutions spanning data management, investment accounting, portfolio management, valuation, reporting and reconciliation, has been chosen by CAM Group, a French mutual insurance group, to replace the insurer’s existing investment accounting system with its GP4 platform.
The decision followed a thorough review of the options available on the market. CAM Group settled on NeoXam GP4 because of its broad functional scope, which takes into account the particular demands of the insurance industry and the French market, alongside NeoXam’s track record of serving institutional investors and the straightforward rollout offered by its SaaS model.
CAM Group has a history stretching back almost 100 years, having been set up by entrepreneurs from the construction industry. The mutual insurer focuses on the construction sector and holds the top spot among construction insurance providers in Eastern France. It supports 35,000 clients and members nationwide across its warranty and insurance offerings, generating revenues of €250m, employing 270 people, and managing €1.5bn in assets, underpinned by technical know-how, customised risk assessment and a mutual approach to solidarity.
NeoXam, for its part, works with more than 150 clients across 30 countries, handling upwards of €25trn in assets on a daily basis for a user base exceeding 10,000. The company, which employs over 750 staff from its Paris headquarters and 21 offices globally, says it aims to help both buy-side and sell-side firms navigate ongoing shifts in the financial industry.
Charles Sayac, Head of Continental Europe at NeoXam, said, “We are delighted to welcome CAM Group into the NeoXam GP4 user community. Our solution will provide CAM Group with a robust and scalable SaaS platform, designed to meet the highest operational and regulatory requirements of the insurance sector. This partnership reflects NeoXam’s ongoing commitment to supporting insurers in strengthening their accounting foundations and driving their operational transformation.”
Marc Wendling, Chief Financial Officer, CAM Group, said, “This project is part of our operational modernisation initiative and our commitment to enhancing the quality of our financial data. The NeoXam GP4 solution, through its SaaS approach and its expertise in the insurance sector, addresses precisely the requirements of our business and the regulatory developments we are subject to.”
