CLARA Analytics, an AI-driven claims optimisation specialist, has introduced Agentic Intelligence, which it describes as the first end-to-end AI workforce designed for complex casualty and workers’ compensation claims.
The new offering sits within the firm’s CLARAty.ai platform and assigns a team of AI agents to every claim, working around the clock from the first notice of loss until the case is closed. Adjusters retain authority over every decision throughout.
The agents operate directly inside the claim file, where the outcomes of casualty and workers’ comp losses are determined. They draw on a decade of proprietary historical outcome data, covering more than seven million claims.
Self-learning data pipelines allow the system to fill gaps in missing data in real time, replacing fixed rules with dynamic querying to produce tailored and accurate intelligence.
Adjusters can see immediately where a score originated and how up to date its underlying data is, removing the need to track down source documents before trusting a figure.
Capabilities include full data lineage with glossary definitions, metric ownership and versioning; live visibility of data health and source validation; drill-downs into coverage groups, exclusions and contributing claim cohorts; clear explanations of scoring logic linked back to claim documents and fields; and a conversational agent for deeper context on risk and recommended actions across structured and unstructured data.
Because no manual coding is required, deployment is significantly faster, and claims teams can analyse and stress-test data straight away. The company says this reduces friction, builds adjuster skills and frees teams to concentrate on complex, high-value decisions, with adjusters owning the decision and CLARA maintaining the supporting evidence trail.
CLARA Analytics provides AI as a service to improve casualty claims outcomes for insurance carriers, MGAs, reinsurers and self-insured organisations. Its platform uses image recognition, natural language processing and other AI methods to extract insights from medical notes, legal demand packages, bills and other claim documents, helping professionals cut costs and improve results.
CLARA Analytics CEO Heather H. Wilson said, “We have gone from a system of intelligence to a system of action by becoming a full claims agentic platform. Working in concert, the agents synthesize all relevant information, provide transparent reasoning and adaptive intelligence, surface opportunities and build the needed bridge from intelligence to action.”
CLARA Analytics chief product officer Mubbin Rabbani said, “We aren’t just delivering faster technology; we are delivering measurable, quantitative financial and business outcomes. Insurers get turn-key access to an advanced AI workforce backed by robust guardrails and human validation.”
