Privilege Underwriters, Inc. (PUI) and the affiliated companies of the PURE Group of Insurance Companies have announced two new leadership appointments, as the brand positions itself for future growth.

PURE has announced the appointment of Drew Saad as Chief Underwriting Officer and the promotion of Dea Malollari to Chief Risk Officer, as the company gears up for expansion.

Saad, assuming the position of Chief Underwriting Officer, will lead PURE’s Underwriting and Product teams. With over 15 years of experience in senior underwriting and product leadership roles at Allstate, Farmers Insurance, and Zurich Insurance Group, he brings a wealth of technical expertise and strategic insight across personal and commercial lines.

Meanwhile, Malollari, already serving as Chief Actuary, extends her responsibilities to encompass the role of Chief Risk Officer. In her expanded capacity, Malollari will head PURE’s Risk Steering Committee and act as a crucial link between PURE’s internal audit team and Tokio Marine Holdings’ risk management group.

Commenting on the appointments, the company’s Chief Executive Office, Martin Leitch, said,  “PURE was built on the foundation of being different, providing unparalleled service, delivering innovative solutions and rewarding members with broad coverage and competitive prices. This continues to be PURE’s vision and north star. As I look ahead, we will focus on continuing to deliver greater value for our members, while ensuring the sustainability of our businesses, and Drew and Dea play pivotal roles in those objectives.”
