Insly, a low-code software provider for the insurance sector, has revealed it has joined the Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC).

The decision to join the UAC comes as part of its strategy to strengthen its relationships with Australian underwriting agencies and insurers, according to InsurTech Insights.

As a UAC Business Services member, Insly will gain access to a network of over 120 corporate members who account for a significant portion of the Australian market.

Membership offers the company opportunities to enhance its visibility, foster strategic connections, and demonstrate its expertise in insurance technology.

Founded in 2013 by Risto Rossar, the company specialises in providing a purpose-built platform designed for underwriting agencies (UAs) and insurers.

With this platform, Insly enables its clients to digitise and automate key operations, including distribution, policy administration, underwriting, claims management, and financial processes.

It operates with a team of 110 professionals across Europe and serves customers in 52 countries.

Looking ahead, Insly intends to use its UAC membership to expand its presence in the Australian market. The company has already established its first partnership in the region and is actively exploring new opportunities for 2025.

By leveraging its platform’s automation and AI capabilities, Insly aims to help Australian underwriting agencies transition away from manual processes and outdated legacy systems.

This strategic move underscores Insly’s long-term vision of transforming the insurance industry in Australia through innovation.

Speaking about the company’s ambitions, Risto Rossar, Founder and CEO of Insly, said, “Underwriting agencies play a vital role in the Australian insurance market, yet many are still operating with manual processes and inefficient legacy systems. As the market matures, underwriting agencies are seeking technology that is tailored to their specific needs and flexible enough to scale as they grow. For this reason, Australia is an important strategic market for Insly, and we look forward to meeting more UAs in the year ahead.”

As part of its enhanced engagement, Insly representatives are set to attend the UAC conference on February 7th, where they will meet other members face-to-face and showcase the capabilities of the Insly platform.
