RIIG – HOOTL, a provider of AI-powered cybersecurity and health tech solutions, has raised a new round of funding from investors in the United Arab Emirates, marking a key milestone in the company’s international expansion.
The capital was secured during the firm’s leadership visit to Dubai. The round comes as part of RIIG’s strategic rebranding to HOOTL—short for Humans Out of the Loop—signalling a shift in focus towards healthcare automation and insurance innovation.
RIIG – HOOTL, originally known for its work in national security-grade risk intelligence and cybersecurity, has increasingly turned its attention to tackling inefficiencies in health insurance processes. Its solutions aim to streamline tasks such as insurance verification and claims adjudication, which are typically time-consuming and error-prone.
With the new funding, HOOTL plans to fast-track development of its AI-driven healthcare tools and expand its reach across other critical sectors. The company also intends to open an office in the UAE, building stronger ties with partners across government, private enterprise, and academia.
During its Dubai visit, the company’s leadership engaged in high-level talks with a senior figure from one of the Emirates and representatives of a major regional tech group. These discussions reinforced the alignment between HOOTL’s AI mission and the UAE’s priorities in healthcare innovation and digital infrastructure.
RIIG – HOOTL CEO Denver Riggleman said, “We are greatly appreciative of this new round of funding and look forward to expanding our partnerships in the UAE. Investors recognise our product as a uniquely innovative solution in the health tech space, particularly for insurance verification and claims adjudication—and they’re eager to capitalise on these new technologies.”
