CLARA Analytics upgrades Claims DocIntel Pro with AI tools

CLARA Analytics, a leading provider of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for the insurance industry, has announced a significant upgrade to its flagship platform, Claims DocIntel Pro.

CLARA Analytics, a leading provider of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for the insurance industry, has announced a significant upgrade to its flagship platform, Claims DocIntel Pro.

The product enhancements come as insurers face rising pressure from increasing litigation costs, social inflation, and bad faith claims. These challenges have led to higher operational risks and demand smarter, more predictive tools to identify threats early and mitigate potential financial losses.

CLARA’s core mission is to improve insurance outcomes through data-driven insights. Its platform is designed to serve insurers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and self-insured organisations by streamlining claims management and enhancing decision-making accuracy through AI-driven analytics.

The enhanced Claims DocIntel Pro introduces dynamic medical summarisation and advanced legal demand analytics. These features help insurers accelerate claims handling and reduce the risk of costly nuclear verdicts. The system uses generative AI and machine learning to analyse thousands of pages of documentation, creating dynamic case summaries and extracting critical insights such as legal risks and time-sensitive demands.

Among its standout features are four uniquely tailored AI-generated medical summaries covering initial injuries, ongoing care, additional considerations, and prior medical history. These summaries replace static reporting, giving claims adjusters immediate access to targeted, actionable information. This capability supports staff at all experience levels by significantly reducing manual workloads and improving claims accuracy.

Built on the company’s proprietary CLARAty.ai platform, Claims DocIntel Pro is tightly integrated with CLARA’s full suite of claims tools. This integration connects extracted data to its contributory database and predictive models, offering a unified, comprehensive view of claims. Unlike fragmented solutions offered by competitors, CLARA’s all-in-one approach eliminates the need for multiple vendors and simplifies the claims life cycle.

The upgrades also streamline employee onboarding. By removing complexity from document review and enabling faster comprehension, the platform accelerates productivity for new adjusters and enhances operational agility.

CLARA Analytics CEO Heather H. Wilson said, “CLARA is pushing the boundaries of innovation to deliver unparalleled value to our customers. These new enhancements to Claims DocIntel Pro enable claims professionals to focus on what matters most, providing them with precise, AI-driven insights that enhance efficiency and improve outcomes. The new release goes further than ever in identifying time-sensitive issues and preventing bad faith claims. It also simplifies and accelerates the onboarding process for new employees, getting them to full productivity faster than ever.”

CLARA Analytics chief product officer Mubbin Rabbani said, “By combining deep document intelligence with predictive analytics and proactive alerts, we’re helping insurers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and self-insured organisations achieve faster time-to-insights and significantly higher ROI.”
