Shin Kong Vietnam, the regional arm of Taiwan’s Shin Kong Life, and PVI Insurance, one of Vietnam’s leading non-life insurance providers, have entered into a strategic partnership to accelerate digital transformation in the nation's insurance sector.

Shin Kong Vietnam, the regional arm of Taiwan’s Shin Kong Life, and PVI Insurance, one of Vietnam’s leading non-life insurance providers, have entered into a strategic partnership to accelerate digital transformation in the nation’s insurance sector.

The collaboration aims to expedite innovation and access within Vietnam’s rapidly growing InsurTech landscape, according to FF News.

The alliance between the two companies seeks to combine Shin Kong Vietnam’s international insurance experience with PVI’s robust domestic presence to build a future-ready digital insurance ecosystem.

Shin Kong Vietnam brings deep industry knowledge as part of Shin Kong Life, a prominent Taiwanese insurer, while PVI is a major Vietnamese insurance company with extensive local distribution networks. Central to the collaboration is the IXT core insurance platform, developed by AIFT Enterprise, which enables the fast, flexible rollout of insurance products while maintaining compliance and enhancing digital customer experiences.

For Shin Kong Vietnam, the partnership provides local expertise, regulatory support, and technological synergy. PVI, in turn, benefits from access to global best practices and a modernised infrastructure that will support expansion across digital channels. The partnership is expected to deliver scalable, innovative insurance services tailored to the Vietnamese market.

The partnership is also supported by AIFT Enterprise, whose IXT platform powers the transformation. Additionally, Chunghwa Telecom Vietnam Co., Ltd. has been brought in to provide enterprise-grade cloud and data centre services. With 17+ years of IDC experience in Vietnam, Chunghwa Telecom’s involvement enhances the partnership’s technological backbone through cybersecurity services and consulting, reinforcing its strategic potential.

This strategic tri-party alliance exemplifies the growing cross-border collaboration between Taiwan and Vietnam in the digital insurance sector. The grand opening ceremony included high-profile attendees such as the Director General of the Vietnam Insurance Authority, Taiwan’s Financial Supervisory Commission representatives, and executives from Dai-Ichi Life and other partners, signalling strong industry and governmental support.

The event marked more than just the launch of a service—it represented a milestone moment for Vietnam’s insurance industry, signalling a shift toward deeper collaboration between insurers, technology enablers, and regulators.

Shin Kong Life chairman Wei said, “This cooperation is a significant milestone for us in Vietnam. AIFT’s IXT core insurance platform has allowed us to digitize rapidly, and partnering with PVI ensures we deliver localized, customer-centric solutions.”

PVI Insurance chairman Duong Thanh Francois said, “This partnership represents a powerful combination of technology and tradition. Together, we aim to raise industry standards and bring greater value to Vietnamese customers.”

AIFT Enterprise CEO Michelle Ip said, “This successful launch in Vietnam is just the beginning. With its vast experience in the Vietnam market, AIFT understands the unique opportunities and challenges here. As Shin Kong expands its presence across Southeast Asia, AIFT will continue to grow alongside our partner, delivering scalable technology solutions and supporting sustainable growth through strong local collaborations.”
