HawkSoft, an insurance agency management system, and SALT, an InsurTech firm specialising in intelligent client intake technology, have announced a new integration aimed at improving the accuracy and efficiency of insurance data collection.
The partnership has been established to address long-standing challenges in insurance client acquisition, where manual intake processes, incomplete submissions and repeated data entry have slowed down agencies and introduced errors.
By embedding SALT’s intelligent intake platform into HawkSoft’s management system, the companies aim to provide agencies with a more consistent and reliable way to collect, verify and structure client data from the outset.
SALT co-founder Dustin Parker said, “Independent agencies run on data, but the process of collecting it has historically been fragmented and inconsistent. Our collaboration with HawkSoft brings the industry one step closer to data intake that is accurate from the start—no rekeying, no cleanup, no friction. HawkSoft has built a platform that agencies trust, and we’re proud to help power a more efficient, modern intake experience for agents and their customers.”
HawkSoft provides core agency management software used by independent insurance firms to manage customer relationships, policies, workflows and operational processes. Its platform supports agencies throughout the policy lifecycle, from onboarding and quoting through to renewals and ongoing service, with a focus on data consistency and usability.
SALT develops automated intake solutions designed to streamline how agencies gather client and prospect information. Its technology allows agencies to customise intake forms, eliminate repetitive data entry and pre-fill fields using verified data. By improving data quality at the point of capture, SALT’s platform supports more accurate quoting, smoother renewals and stronger long-term retention.
Through the integration, SALT’s intake tools are now available as a packaged option within HawkSoft. Agencies using both platforms can reduce back-and-forth communication with prospects, shorten time to quote and improve close rates by ensuring that forms are accurate and complete on the first attempt. The integration is designed to work across both digital and phone-based intake workflows.
The partnership also reflects a broader shift within InsurTech towards API-driven integrations that reduce operational friction across agencies, carriers and policyholders. By improving data quality earlier in the process, the companies say agencies can free up producers and account managers to focus more on sales and customer service rather than administrative follow-up.
Both companies said the collaboration supports a shared commitment to vetted technology ecosystems, allowing agencies to modernise without disrupting existing workflows. The integration is positioned as a way to strengthen the insured acquisition experience from first contact, while supporting agency growth through cleaner and more reliable data.
HawkSoft cmo Rushang Shah said, “Collecting data for adding a new client or prospect can be tedious and time consuming. SALT allows you to customize your intake form and build a consistent data entry experience across all of your prospects and insureds.”
