SchemeServe, a UK-based cloud provider of insurance software, has announced a new data partnership with Addresscloud to improve insurers’ capacity to deliver more accurate, data-backed premiums for individual properties.
The primary goal of this partnership is to enhance the data-driven decision-making capabilities available to property scheme insurers, according to FF News.
By integrating Addresscloud’s suite of geolocation, peril and climate risk data, and address-mapping tools, SchemeServe aims to help insurers offer more tailored and precise premiums for each property based on detailed risk insights.
SchemeServe, recognised as a leader in cloud-based insurance software, provides a flexible platform that enables insurers to develop, manage, and deploy various insurance products effectively.
Known for its versatility and award-winning design, the platform is frequently adopted by insurers seeking advanced tools to streamline product creation and deployment. SchemeServe’s continuous focus on innovation positions it as a preferred choice for modern insurers.
Addresscloud, on the other hand, specialises in geographic risk assessment with a robust API-first approach.
The platform provides sophisticated tools for assessing property risk through geocoding, rooftop address matching, and peril and climate risk scoring. With detailed data on property characteristics, Addresscloud’s solutions are designed to help insurers make informed, precise underwriting and pricing decisions.
This integration brings a suite of advanced, API-accessible tools to SchemeServe’s ecosystem, enabling more granular risk management for insurers.
New features include rooftop-level address matching, geolocation data, accumulation management, and scoring capabilities for peril and climate risks.
Together, these capabilities will enable insurers using SchemeServe’s platform to accurately assess property risks at the address level, allowing for more refined and data-backed pricing decisions.
Simon Cowling, chief technology officer at SchemeServe, highlighted the partnership’s value in enhancing property risk assessments: “We’re delighted to partner with Addresscloud. We’re constantly evolving our platform to help our customers build, tailor, and deploy products that are responsive to emerging needs. In this case, we are getting ahead of demand for better clarity on property risks and more granular level pricing. It’s just the latest example of our commitment to integrate complementary technology that helps scheme insurers stay agile, adapt quickly to market changes, and deliver exceptional customer experiences, all while driving financial growth and optimising cost.”
Mark Varley, founder and CEO of Addresscloud, shared his excitement about the collaboration, stating, “We are proud to partner with SchemeServe, a company that, like us, is committed to helping insurers make smarter, data-driven property risk decisions. Through our collaboration, we’re bringing address-level precision to property insurers, enabling them to go beyond broad assumptions and deliver personalised, responsive solutions for every policy. Together, we’re empowering insurers to navigate today’s evolving risk landscape with greater accuracy and confidence.”
