insured.io rolls out omnichannel Claims AI solution

insured.io, an InsurTech company specialising in omnichannel customer experience technology for insurers, has launched a new AI-powered virtual claims agent designed to automate the First Notice of Loss (FNOL) process across voice and chat channels.

insured.io, an InsurTech company specialising in omnichannel customer experience technology for insurers, has launched a new AI-powered virtual claims agent designed to automate the First Notice of Loss (FNOL) process across voice and chat channels.

The new product, called Claims AI, has been developed to help insurance carriers manage claims interactions through a single conversational platform.

The system allows policyholders to submit claims through either voice or digital chat while enabling insurers to process requests directly through existing core systems in real-time.

Claims AI is built on insured.io’s existing platform infrastructure and combines policy search, claims intake and workflow automation into a unified system. According to the company, the platform has been designed to support insurers looking to modernise customer service operations while reducing reliance on manual claims processes.

The platform enables insurers to deploy voice and chat capabilities through a shared workflow, allowing carriers to operate either channel independently or together. The system also integrates directly with insurers’ core platforms to support real-time retrieval of policy data and claims submission.

The launch expands insured.io’s broader suite of customer engagement products, which already includes policyholder portals, payment and policy IVR services, and messaging tools. The company said Claims AI has been developed to provide insurers with a more seamless omnichannel experience for policyholders.

The platform currently supports both English and Spanish language interactions out of the box, with the company positioning the technology as a scalable solution for mid-sized insurance carriers adapting to changing customer expectations.

insured.io cited industry research suggesting that AI-powered claims technologies can improve productivity by as much as 80% while increasing classification accuracy by 30% compared with manual workflows.

insured.io chief product officer Steve Johnson said, “The innovation built into the insured.io platform doesn’t come from an AI company guessing how to do insurance claims. Instead, this AI agent was created by insurance experts who live and breathe insurance processes, and are committed to making the claims experience better for insureds.

“With Claims AI, we’re putting insurers in command of every touchpoint in the policyholder relationship, ensuring a seamless, omnichannel experience that goes beyond simple multi-channel access.”

The company said the launch reinforces its strategy of offering insurers a single customer engagement platform capable of evolving alongside policyholder communication preferences and operational demands.
