The Ardonagh Group, one of the world’s largest independent insurance distribution platforms and a top 15 global broker, has unveiled Axiiem, a new InsurTech venture aimed at linking data, distribution and capacity more intelligently across the specialty insurance market.
Axiiem runs on proprietary technology that Ardonagh has developed internally over several years. The platform’s goal is to inject pace, clarity and efficiency into how risks are placed, giving brokers, carriers and clients a more joined-up, data-driven route to accessing and deploying capacity.
Initially, the venture will concentrate on digital trading and capacity solutions for key distribution partners in selected markets, building on the strength of Ardonagh’s existing portfolio.
James Masterton has been appointed to lead the new business as executive chairman.
