Logistics UK, a leading UK business group representing logistics companies across the road, rail, water and air sectors, has entered a strategic partnership with insurer AXA UK aimed at helping fleet operators manage and reduce their exposure to risk.
The collaboration is designed to tackle the risks that come with running vehicle fleets of any size, giving operators the tools to spot potential problems before they develop into bigger issues.
Members of Logistics UK will be able to draw on the partnership to strengthen risk awareness and put preventative measures in place.
Logistics UK describes itself as one of the country’s largest business groups, representing logistics operators that underpin UK trade and employ more than seven million people across the making, selling and moving of goods.
The organisation notes that decarbonisation, Brexit, new technology and other disruptive forces are reshaping how goods move across borders and through supply chains, making its role supporting, shaping and representing the industry increasingly significant.
